About Lift

We specialise in small group personal training, 1-2-1 PT and classes.

Our training philosophy is based on elite level strength and conditioning that can be adapted to any level of health and fitness.

We believe in working hard in an encouraging group environment with the added benefit of elite coaching.

At LIFT you will learn about correct technique, different training methods, recovery and nutrition whilst also getting in the best of shape of your life.

We follow structured, detailed and ever evolving programs that are also tailored towards your individual goals.

Meet the Coach

Sam Betty

I have always loved physical training, activity and playing sports.

I was a professional rugby player for 12 years, spending six years with the Cornish Pirates and six years at Worcester Warriors in the premiership.

In that time I have worked under countless top level strength and conditioning coaches and built up a wealth of knowledge in this area.

I completed my Level 2 and 3 Personal Training qualifications in 2014 and joined Fit3sixty in 2015, working in the evenings whilst still playing professional rugby for Worcester.

Fit3sixty became very popular and successful and during my two years there I trained a wide array of people from elderly men and women looking to stay fit and active to young aspiring athletes, rugby players and MMA fighters.

I loved the job immediately and knew it was something I wanted to pursue further after my rugby career finished.

It is fantastic to help people attain their goals and has become a real passion for me.

I also love to surf and since retiring from rugby have started training in Jiu Jitsu and boxing and had my first amateur fight in May 2017.

Small Group PT

Here at LIFT one of our main focuses is Small Group Personal Training (SGPT). Training in groups of no more than 4 you will receive expert coaching to help you attain your goals. 

Classes

Enjoy top level Strength and Conditioning (S&C) classes, fun 45 minute or 30 minute high intensity classes as well as boxing fitness, yoga and pilates.

Competitive Pricing and No Contracts

Plenty of options to choose from, from drop in class pass, One to One PT, group classes or Small Group PT. We understand that things crop in life so don’t tie you in with any contracts.

Nutritional Advice

We aim to educate you on all aspects of nutrition which is a fundamental part of health and fitness. 

Experience

Sam has been a Level 3 Qualified Personal Trainer since 2015. Previous to that he spent 12 years playing professional rugby, 6 of which were spent in the Premiership.
